The Integrative Therapy Association is governed by a five-member Board of Governors composed of seasoned integrative and somatic mental health professionals representing diverse therapeutic traditions.
Board Resposabilities
Establish and periodically update educational standards
Approve training institutions and continuing education providers
Oversee the ethical conduct and disciplinary actions of certified practitioners
Promote international cooperation in integrative therapy education and research
Maintain transparency and public trust through published policies and annual reports
To meet once every two months to approve new applicants and educational providers
To review submissions of complaints for ethical breaches submitted to the board for certified ITA practitioners.
